(More customer reviews)I purchased this inverter after reading positive reviews on its 12v sibling. This is a solid inverter and a good deal for the money. Make sure to use large deep cycle/marine type batteries, wire with heavy cable, and then power anything that can run off of a standard 15A/120VAC wall outlet. This unit has powered everything I've plugged into it, to include a Ridgid brand air compressor with a 1.8HP motor. Inverter is marked "Designed in Canada, Assembled in China" and "Designed for Military Applications". This isn't a military-grade piece of gear, but it should be more than sufficient for campers, rv boondockers, solar powered cabin installations, and anyone else who needs to meet large ac power demands from a 24 volt battery bank.
