Before making a decision on this you need to use it a week. It seemed to take some time for the features to work correctly. Now I have 8 shower heads working at the same time and the temp light is working.
I sent them an email about shipping me the wrong shower head. In the description you get both a lcd hand held and shower head. I only get a LCD hand held shower head. THey are sending me a $10 credit or the lED shower head. They responded in under 8 hours. I am now in LED HEaven. THe LED will tell you when the water is to cold or to hot. Jump in at yellow. Handy when you have a little boy.
I am 5ft 9 in. THe nozzles are a bit low. I recommend putting the shower up high. THe problem is the coneector hose needs to be longer. Cause where the pipe comes out in the wall has limits. You have 4 massage jets and 4 fog jets. The fog jets are on the bottom. Do not know what to use them for. They fogged my knees and butt. This was a disappointment cause I wanted a full body shower that can rinse all of me. My old one from Aqua had at least 3 rows. Move the knob to turn the shower jets slowly. THat is how you get all 8 to work at the same time.
For all you black women who spend tons of money getting your hair done, the rain shower head is adjustable so you can keep your hair from being wet. The handheld did not switch over to massage spray.
The shelf was handy, About 3 items can fit on it. But what is the point of the mirror. It got steamed up in under a minute. They can remove this feature.
THe Aqua imports shower was made really cheaply. It cracked in the back and was leaking in under 2 years.Features stopped working in about 4 months. My MIT engineer friend says this one is made substantially better than the Aqua one I replaced. Plus, the temperture of the water gets hotter, almost burned my butt. The water pressure is better. And I have bad water pressure.
However, I miss my 6 massaging jets. That is the reason I am giving it a 4. THey could eliminate the fog jets. Or maybe they take some getting use to.
If you are not spoiled like me with 6 simultaneous massaging water jets, you may like this. THe 8 nozzles will rinse me off quickly enough.
I would buy an AKDY shower panel again at this price point.
Why do I need the fog feature? Someone tell me.
