(More customer reviews)I had found a very similar table, same size but black, in wrought iron at a well-known discount store. It was about 1/3 the price of this, but I looked the table over and it seemed a bit flimsy. Wrought iron (or any metal) isn't as strong and durable as cast because when it's cast, it's melted. Wrought is just shaped. So I went with this table instead and I'm very glad I did. It seems very sturdy, was easy to put together and is just the color I wanted; black with a strong dusting of rust brown over it. It's heavy, but not too heavy to move around. Putting it together wasn't hard, although it would have been easier if I'd had another table to put it on. All the hardware fit and the holes were in the right places (which I've found isn't always so on these projects) and all I needed was a slot screwdriver and the little wrench that was provided. It took me about 1/2 hour. I have only two gripes about it: (1) The bolts on the inside of the circle that the legs fasten to were so long that the bolt covers wouldn't fit on them. And (2) the umbrella hole didn't come with a plug. You can buy them, but all I've found is clear ones and with them you can still see the hole. But these are small problems; the hold isn't too big and the bolts don't show much since they're on the inside of the ring. And here's a heads-up about the description of this product: it does NOT come with four chairs. The chairs are bought separately, in packs of 2. Otherwise, it's a very pretty table and I think it might last as long as my last patio table, which I had nearly 20 years.
