For some reason, the Neptune Society in San Francisco only puts the cremated remains in a plastic bag, so I had to buy a container. I must have looked at hundreds of them and couldn't find the right thing. I was surprised by the lack of good choices - boring, tacky and/or really expensive designs. My aunt was almost 100 years old and this urn has a nice vintage feel. It looked like something she could have had in her home. And the price is fantastic! The Neputne Society's most basic urn was as expensive as this one. The pearl finish is nice - not glittery. I got the matching keepsake urn and it's cute as a button. It makes me happy to look at it and remember my aunt.
