(More customer reviews)First, this product is primarily made of thin aluminum tubing which does not have much strength. This became apparent immediately upon opening the box and noting the many "scratch and dents" in the body of the product. The company does not tell you that you must go buy mounting hardware (screws, nuts, washers) to put it up, as these are not included. The instructions are for a slightly different model, so the vauge instructions dont exactly match what you get, making for a confusing assembly. You will also need a 2nd person as this is virtually impossible to install alone.
Once you manage to get it assembled, you will notice that it does not extend the full 10 feet, but only about 8 feet as the extension arms do not fully extend. Second, you cannot fully retract it, as the thin aluminum rods will BREAK from the slightest tension. I managed to patch mine up so that I can leave it about half extended without it falling apart.
A definate DO NOT BUY.
