(More customer reviews)I have several other pans from calphalon (the "calphalon contemporary" series, I think) which I absolutely love. This one, not so much. The primary drawback, which would have been a complete deal-breaker if I had only known, is that the "stick-resistant" surface is a total lie. It's about as stick-resistant as my laptop is water-resistant. After cooking with it ONCE and washing it THRICE, the surface remains heavily discolored. (And yes, all three times I used as hot of water as my tap provides, lots of soap, and just about gave myself tendonitis with all the scrubbing.) I also note that it was only upon the third consecutive washing that I was able to remove the final bits that were stuck to the pan. Ridiculous.
I admit, I'm not a gourmet chef, so maybe there are a lot of other great features that this pan provides which are lost on me. But if you are a practical kind of person who values ease of cleaning, then stay far, far away from this pan.
