(More customer reviews)felt compelled to counter the negative review posted on this martin house. i did quite a bit of research on the various models, materials, styles, and concluded this was best. we were not disappointed.
are there "lots" of pieces? well, yes. especially considering we purchased the 4-story model. but the instructions could not be easier to follow. and guess what? if you have a question about how something is supposed to look, there is a HUGE picture of a completed martin house on the box!
takes awhile to put together? well, yes. lots of nuts and screws to tighten. simply secure the nut while tightening the screw, and voila. the screws get tightened.
apparently, enough folks gave feedback, that depending where you order, you can choose to purchase it assembled... and pay a fairly hefty fee. me? i turned on the tv, and after a couple football games, had mine put together. very pleased with the materials and construction. should provide years of enjoyment for our martin "tenants". :)
