Finishing the cords at the top of the chime could have been done a bit more neatly as they are all just tied off with no supplied ring or hangar, but aside from that this is a big, beautiful chime. It is HEAVY. do not purchase if you are looking for a chime to hang from anything other than a strong support such as a ceiling beam. Cannot comment on weathering in the winter as I have taken it in. Not exactly a bargain, but I fell in love with it.
